Stahlgrau is German and means steel gray, or more commonly, gun metal grey, the colour of California designed computers, German sportscars, industrial kitchen appliances, a modern staircase, and so forth. Steel is also rigid and to the point, as we aim to be editorially.

The style of the blog is calm and informative. And as we expect most of our readers to subscribe to our RSS feed or newsletter no banners are displayed on the site itself. Adblockers take away the promotional effect of those anyway. Sponsors will instead be presented in regular blog posts as well as through textual ads in the feed and the newsletter.
